Woods Used: I made this project in 2011 following a trip to AZ, the desert landscape inspired the piece. Woods used: Various shades of Western Red Cedar, Aspen for the White, Yellow Heart, Walnut for the eagle and walnut bark & hackberry for the lizard. It's glued to a piece of maple/birch plywood, which is the background.
Includes instructions for putting the project together. A Wonder Wheel and a wood-burner was used for adding texture.
Suggested Blades: Gold #5 for Western Red Cedar or any softwood. Platinum Plus #5, Platinum #5, Titanium #5, Titanium #5R, TLB #5 for the hardwoods. PLP-2/0, or TLB #2/0 to cut the interior lines (after the exterior lines are cut).
