Beginner/Intermediate Level 12 3/4" x 10 1/4" 19 pieces
This is the image that comes to mind when you think of a "moon face" with a star. It is designed to be a companion to the Sun Intarsia pattern. I used a round drill bit to add the craters on the face. The star is a separate piece attached with monofilament line. Woods Used: Aspen for the White, Walnut for the eye, 1" Spalted Hackberry for the moon. Suggested Blades: Gold #5 for Western Red Cedar or any softwood. Platinum Plus #5, Platinum #5, TLB #5 for the hardwoods. PLP-2/0, or TLB #2/0 to cut the interior lines (after the exterior lines are cut). Intarsia pattern designed by Judy Roberts. See why our patterns are the best!
