I-223 Reindeer

Beginner/Intermediate Level    17" x 15"  51 pieces. 
A Wonder Wheel  was used to add texture on Reindeer's hoofs. Would make a great Christmas decoration. I used WRC for the blanket, collar, and halter. After I sanded the shape I added a little red artist oil paint to the  Old Masters clear gel for red color and added a little green to the gel for the green parts. I applied one coat of the color and two coats of clear. I used a wood burner to add the lines on the jingle bells. Woods Used:  Various shades of Western Red Cedar, Aspen for the White. Suggested Blades:  Gold #5 for Western Red Cedar or any softwood. Platinum Plus #5,  Platinum #5,  TLB #5  for the hardwoods.  PLP-2/0, or TLB #2/0 to cut the interior lines (after the exterior lines are cut).
