Michael & Zina Goodin reached out to us about this commission around June of 2019. Michael has been doing Intarsia for quite some time now. At first he was interested in having a custom pattern made for the sanctuary. As time progressed he realized he may not have time to create such a large piece and requested that we work as a team. I would create the pattern and he would cut out different parts of the project.
With the Covid 19, Michael was not able to help with the sanding of the project. So I'm sanding like crazy to get the piece finished for their May grand opening.
As I am working on the pattern I will add more photos to this page to see the progression of this project. Lucy Lu is a separate piece that will attach to the frame.
